Who we are
Momentum™ ("Momentum", "we", "us") provides focus infrastructure for neurodivergent minds — the website at momentumfocus.org and the Momentum mobile app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. It applies to the website and the app.
Information we collect
Account information: when you create an account we collect your email address and, optionally, a display name. Authentication is handled by Supabase on our behalf.
Membership & purchases: if you subscribe, the transaction is processed by Google Play Billing (in the app) or Stripe (on the web). We receive your membership status and a purchase identifier — we never receive or store your full card details.
On-device data: focus timer streaks and reminder preferences are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us.
Diagnostics: limited, aggregated error and performance data may be collected to keep the service reliable.
How we use your information
To create and secure your account and deliver the daily readings, membership benefits, and app features you request.
To process and manage memberships and subscriptions.
To send service communications you have asked for (for example, the daily email), which you can opt out of at any time.
To maintain, protect, and improve the service.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Service providers we share with
We share the minimum data necessary with providers who help us run Momentum: Supabase (database, authentication, hosting), Google Play Billing and RevenueCat (app subscriptions), Stripe (web payments), Resend (transactional email), and Vercel (web hosting). Each processes data only to provide their service to us.
Data retention & deletion
We keep account data for as long as your account is active. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing darius@momentumfocus.org — we will action verified requests promptly. Deleting your account removes your personal data from our systems, subject to any records we must retain by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under UK GDPR / EU GDPR), you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any right, contact darius@momentumfocus.org.
Children
Account creation in the app is intended for people aged 13 and over. Where younger neurodivergent minds use Momentum, it should be with the involvement of a parent or carer who holds the account.
Security
We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security on our database — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your data.
Changes & contact
We may update this policy as the service evolves; material changes will be reflected here with a new date. Questions or requests: darius@momentumfocus.org.
